I've downloaded the newest drivers for the Epson Stylus C42 but that doesn't work either.

It requires some type of driver to function properly in windows. This link has the latest drivers for that, it may or may not fix your machine: So now all the yellow exclamation marks are out of my Device Manager.
They switched it to a 10 foot and it worked. If applicable, Install the most current VIA 4-in-1 driver. Usually this is not part of the 4 in 1 drivers, but is in the usb section or in the chipset driver that comes with many motherboards. Just got back from the msi website.
I thought it had something to do with the USB host to host thing but brridge not.
I haven't got the problem PC updated yet due to the internet connection problem I'm having with that machine. A quick read thru leads me to believe that your problem is not the hardware usb to host bridge, but that the pc2pc genie software is the problem.
Usually the usb host to host bridge is part of the usb component of the mobo.

It ksb small, under a meg so you can get it to the machine on diskette. I downloaded and loaded the 4in1 drivers and rebooted, but that didn't solve the problem.
Hello Justintime I did install the drivers off the MSI mobo cd and windows said it wasn't a signed driver, blah Sometimes the printer shows and sometimes it doesn't.
